Comments: My fearless leader and inspirational guru, Red Bill, paced me for the first 6 miles. Could not keep up with him after that. Like at the Turkey Trot, my left knee started hurting. It seems that everytime I push myself a bit that happens. Will keep an eye on it as I train over the next couple of weeks. The good thing about being the BOPer of my little training group is that they all arrive first so I always have loud fans waiting for me to cross the finish line. What would you do differently?: Not get drunk 2 nights before a race, and if I do at least get some nookie! Post race
Warm down: Hang out with the gang waiting for the hardware...Frankie got first place in his age group and I got third (yesterday)...today the results showed me in second place. What limited your ability to perform faster: Remnants of a hang over and left knee pain 1/2 way through the race Last updated: 2006-11-27 12:00 AM

Age Group = 45-49
Age Group Rank = 2/4
Woke up at 5 a.m. (had to shave my legs!) so I could be ready for Red Bill's pick up at 5:45. Had some diluted Perpeteum and a power bar. Still feeling a bit dehidrated from overdoing it on Friday night. Since we were in the great big white Bus, picked up Frankie and Jalaine, and Frank on the way to the race.
Ran to the bathroom and back.
