why is it when i calculate it comes up with some weird number, like 8.70, but when it goes back to the log view, it has the correct min/mile pace (consistant with my garmin!)

I'M CONFUSED!

When initially intering a pace in the logging screen, it is in decimal minutes/mile or km for entry into the database...when you log it, it gets converted to mm:ss/mile or km in all of the reports.

So to convert a pace of 8.7 min/mile, you take the 0.7minutes and multiply by 60seconds/1min to get 42 seconds...so the pace is 8min42seconds per mile or km.

So it is correct, it's just how we initially calculate it to get it into the databse for all other reports.
