we all know for the men, it's typical to have shaved legs as triathletes during the spring and summer months, however offhand, do you shave during the winter months? i personally don't.

also, as a former swimmer, shaving means getting down to business. literally. the act of shaving for a big meet signifies a peak performance on hand that is a mental act and also physiological (with the fish-like feeling when swimming newly shaved).

Yes, believe it or not, I do shave! I found that it helps me feel the water better and when I have had the unfortunate opportunity to have a bike wreck, the road rash is easier to clean. I usually don't shave in the off season and wait till the week of my first tri to began my tri season ritual.
