Subject: RE: Swim lessons/instructorFor anyone interested I am going to the pool tomorrow probably twice
FIRST: I plan to go to Columbus Aquatic Center on Hunter (West of High, South of 5th Ave.) from 1-3. I am easy to spot with a 2 year old and 4 year old in tow. I wear long recreational swim trunks and blue googles. (also see my avatar) I may have a friend there who can help watch my kids but other wise they will sit in the bleachers and watch for 10-15 minutes at a time. Of course if 2 people show up for swimming help it is easier. No payment - that is right FREE lessons - but you may need to babysit for 15 minutes. It is 50¢ to swim here. If you don't have a leisure card it is $1 for Columbus Residents. I am not sure how much for non residents.
SECOND: We plan to go as a family to Worthington community center from 7-9. My wife needs 20 minutes of that time to run on the treadmill but after that I can swim laps or help anyone interested with there swimming. It is $8 for a non resident guest to swim here. I don't know if you need to go in with a member or how much resident charge is. I am offering at no charge "How to" swimming advice not log term coaching or workouts. Why free? I like to swim. I like to hang out with like minded people. I like to teach. I will post here by NOON Friday if my plans change for pool times.
