It's good to see you're well trained (by your wife that is).  I would try it but I am waaay too slow for you. 

I wouldn't recommend this ride for a first-timer on a normal ride, but, since this is a T.I.T.S to get out and enjoy the weather and check on the Fall foliage, it's all about enjoying the ride.  Avg would be 15 or so mph.  If I got ahead, I would check back and wait or ride back anyways for some additional mileage.  Ask Deanna - she knows.

Now, for you faster phreaks, you can just go on ahead.

Hmmmm.  What time are you planning on starting? 

There was a 10K run at the Henry Vilas Zoo that I just saw in yesterday's paper, and was contemplating about doing that - it starts at 10 a.m.  But, I need to stick to my plan to doing nothing but Z2 training, so I was thinking starting the bike around 10:00 a.m., but can wait 15 minutes if need be.

Andrea - If you're in the Madison area you could join me for a ride or run sometime as long as you don't mind running with a slobbery black dog too.

I like slobbery black dogs, in fact.  We have a choc lab who is a slobbery brown dog.  He also loves to run, but prefers to put himself into O2 debt in the first mile and then he can't keep up after that!    Would love to run with you sometime!

Re: logging my training - I use SportTracks right now and have been too lazy to change over to BT.  Takes time I don't have with two little kids! 

We'll have to plan something.  I usually run early in the morning.

You have kids, don't you?  Mine get up before 5am (!) so I, too, train early at times!

Andrea, let me know if a specific day/time would work for you.  I am a very slow runner but you can see that from my training logs.
