hi - i'm based in london too (clerkenwell).  just looking into doing a triathlon - do you have any good tips for cycle routes?  a lot of people have suggested richmond park, but for me it's about 16k to get there and then 16k back and i guess i would rather cycle around the park for a workout than cycle london's streets.....
