I think I did decent, average to say the least! I'll miss the nervous weekends and competition of racing, I think I might sign up for a small running race to take care of that :-]

Green Bay Sprint
6/26 age group
31/384 overall

Decatur Triathlon - Sprint - USAT - distance was a little strange, in between sprint and oly
9/22 age group
35/218 overall

Door County HIM - USAT
11/26 age group
105/357 overall

Oshkosh - Oly
8/20 age group
54/245 overall

Pleasant Prairie - USAT - Oly
8/25 age group
161/625 overall

So is it common to see such consistent results? Especially 1st season? I think it's strange how my first race is the one I did the best at (placing wise). My last race I had a pr for the bike though! Overall, I love this sport, I'm so not stopping anytime soon! I think I left a lot for improvement for next year, especially my swimming and transition times.

Anyways, how are you all doing with your tri season?

My season's done:

Seahorse Oly:
Age Group: 11/18
Overall: 52/132

Lake Macatawa (between Oly & Sprint):
AG: 9/19
Overall: 56/168

Tri del Sol (between Oly & Sprint):
AG: 13/34
Overall: 84/224

Millenium Sprint
AG: 5/36
Overall: 49/448

My biggest accomplishment was my biking speed this year. All of this year's races were faster than years past, and I think I still have a bit of speed to squeeze out of my legs with another winter on the trainer. Swimming stayed about the same. My run splits were on par with my previous best year, but my last race had the fastest splits ever. Transitions improved. Next year, I want to get faster on the run, take a little off transitions, and be more consistent with my swim training. Another big result of this season was my decision to focus on sprints. I've realized that going all out is a lot more fun for me. I'll train Oly and race sprints (and an occasional Oly)

It's been a successful year, and a lot of that is due to the great advice available here on BT. Thanks everyone.
