Ladies sizing question for you...

I'm glad this topic was about bike sizing

That's my height and I have a 50 cm road bike. She would be best to get fit at a bike shop, different brands of bike fit differently. My Felt Tri bike is a 50cm but has smaller 650 wheels. You could try some brands at a bike shop then you would know for sure which size she needs

I agree with riorio about going to shops and getting sized, or at least getting a feel for what works and what doesn't if you're going to buy off the internet or look for something used. A 50cm in one brand will feel totally different than a 50cm in another depending on top tube lengths and angles and such, and other manufacturers size by S/M/L.
