Subject: RE: Getting Sick-Day Before Event-Figures!!!I don't have much advice, but I can relate. I had a migraine the day before my last race, an open water swim. I called the race director and canceled, but i felt fine the next morning and swam it after all. I did better than I expected and had fun. I am sick again this weekend-a fierce headache, nausea, and slight fever-and have a tri tomorrow. I am really hoping that I will feel better in the morning. drink lots of fluids, push vitamins, take something to help you sleep-it is soooo important to get a good nights sleep. sometimes it helps if I take echinacea right away. I can not think of much else to do at the moment. I am starting to wonder if this is how I show pre-race nervousness. |
