Subject: Huge rip in my Desoto...how to fix?
So there I am about to take a last swim before closing up the cottage and notice the wetsuit feels odd. Huge 4 inch rip right across the back of the bibjohns. I did not even notice until I was about to get in the water.

Anyone ever repair a rip this big? Or know of an online dealer perhaps that does repairs? I have a high end sewing machine so wouldn't mind fixing it myself if I could find the right material to reinforce it with. Maybe seam seal it after?

Go to the DeSoto Short website and get their customer support number. I haven't had to deal with them myself, but every anecdote I've heard has been over-the-top positive. Emilio knows customer service.

From posts here and from people I've talked to in my area, apparently Desoto has a first rate rep for customer service.  I don't know if you bought it through them or a dealer, but it's definitely worth contacting them.
