Comments: I didn't have the confidence to run 6:20 pace. I was expecting something similar to 70 minutes. I was still thinking i would blow up about 5 mile, but when i got to six, i knew i could maintain this pace. I faded in the last mile. I was decieving as we went by the start/finish area then back out away from it. I knew i would be under 60:00 and was happy with whatever i got. What would you do differently?: nothing Post race Warm down: slow jog to car and back, alot of water and AMP energy drink What limited your ability to perform faster: not much, the calf issue i'd been dealing was pretty much subsided and very little swelling. So i think i went inot the race fit, but rested Event comments: Awesome goodie bag - fleece jacket, running cap and alot of hershey chocalte afterward Last updated: 2008-10-27 12:00 AM |
