Subject: Garmin Communicator install problem

Hi, I am trying to install Garmin Communicator and it doesn't work for some reason. I install the software, and it tells me that it installed correctly, but when it goes to the "test page", it  gives me this message:

Garmin Communicator Plugin is NOT detected. See our download and installation instructions.

I disabled my firewall, set my security level to minimum, allowed all activex to run freely, and I still can't install it.

Anybody ever had this problem?

When you installed it, were all your internet windows closed?

yes, all my internet explorer and firefox windows were closed.
