Wouldn't want to see this happen to anyone! Sounds scary.

With so much emphasis on trying to prevent dehydration, there definitely needs to be some more attention paid to the complete other end of the spectrum. Just thought it was an interesting article and decided to share....

This happened to anyone?

I've heard of it before.  Actually my father told us (family) a story a long time ago regarding similar circumstances during WWII in the desert in Aftrica.  Some prisoners were so dehydrated that when they were issued water, instead of sipping, they guzzled hence leading to the same problem.
