Subject: Disallowed words in PM's

I know that forum postings are subject to having swear words and such deleted out due to the public nature of them, but I was wondering why this also needed to be done in PM's?

It never occurs to me when sending a PM that I should be using a$$ or azz, for example, since it's not for public consumption.

It's possible that since the editors are the same, you can't have the swear words edited in one and not the other?  (as I'm typing this post, this seems likely to me... but still doesn't hurt to ask the question....)

thanks!

It's a property of the forum softwares 'bad word' list that eliminates it or replaces it acrossed the site since the pm system is directly tied to the forum software.
