Subject: Tapering to peak?This is my second season of tri's (this one being more focused ). I sprint tri's on 7/11 and 7/19. How much and when should i taper? Do i lower frequency, duration, intensity, or workouts. Is it possible to peak for both? If i run about 30 mi, swim about 4500m, and bike about 60 mi a week, what and when do i drop those numbers. And after the races when can i jumpstart my training again for my mid-aug tri's? -Ne tips would be greatly appreciated. |
