Subject: Newbi bike question....
Hi everyone!  I am new to the site and tri's in general and I had a bike question I was hoping someone could help me with.

I found a used Trek 1000 bike for sale for $500 and I was wondering if that is a pretty good price or not.  It was originally bought in 2005 and reportedly has low mileage.  The seller says it is a 54 in bike.

All great questions...and I have answers for none of them.  The seller has not really been a plethora of information.  I may just have to pass on this one until I learn a little more about what is best for my situation.  Any good tips on determining what size bike would fit me best?  Thanks for the help.
