Subject: Valkyrie Product Testers
Hello,

My new tri bike company, Valkyrie cycles based in Freeport, needs some product testers to give us feedback. The more experienced the better, but newbies are welcome too. If you have some time and interest in riding the bikes and giving me a post ride review that would be appreciated. e-mail Jim Barry at [email protected]. The full tri bike, the Volcan TR70C, is suited for riders 5'8 to 6'0. I also have a smaller road/tri bike, the Olympia that would suit someone about 5'3 to 5'6.

I'll be testing starting July 12th. I'm free most weekends and evenings. Testers will get a Valkyrie Cycles Tee and a cool mug with our logo and hopefully some fun blasting around on a full carbon aero machine.

Stop by and see us on display at the Urban Epic on the 18th.

We had a good day in the field a few weeks ago when Erik Zwick came up from Portland to do some testing with me. Erik is just getting into triathlon this year but is serious about getting serious. It was great to meet him and work with his goals.

Last week I built an Olympia model for a customer I met at the Urban Epic in Portland. Here are some shots of it.

This weekend I'm delivering the frameset I donated to the random winner from the pool of racers at the Urban Epic. Steve Schindler could not have been a better winner. Nicest guy. We are basically swapping his Cannondale parts into the Volcan frameset. It came out great. Can't wait to deliver.

Any other testers or anyone who just wants to schedule some time with me to discuss their tri bike, just get in touch with me. I find it rewarding to work locally.
