I've been running in a pair of Nike Air's I bought for $5 about 6 years ago and I think I've deserved an upgrade. Went to a running store today and was told I have a neutral stride but slight pronation.

I wanted originally some Zoot's, but after reading reviews it looks like that would not be a good shoe to both run in for training and racing.

I'd prefer something that serves both functions. I tried on the Nike Moto 7's and was curious to see what else everyone else uses. Cost isn't really an issue, I'd just prefer something that will hold up and is lightweight.

Thanks

there are different models of Zoot's, not sure what you were looking at.  I train in Zoot Energy's, and also have the Ultra TT's for racing and some training.  The energy is a pretty lightweight, neutral trainer that has held up fine for me so far.  If I were going to switch to Nike's I'd go with the Lunar Trainer+, it's lightweight and has very good cushioning.

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and ordered some of the Zoot Energy's and they should be here in a couple of days.
