What does it mean to ride steady at 62.5-67.5% of CP30 power? Is this a power meter measurement? Since I know nothing about power meters and the such, what type of effort is this?

Breakthrough
WU: Warm up 30 minutes.
MS: Then ride 2 hours steady at 62.5-67.5% of CP30 power. Observe heart rate at this effort if. What was your average HR for the steady state portion?

CP30 is the power you can sustain for 30 minutes. Tough to measure, of course, with no power meter...

I think we're on the same plan!  That's in my plan for tomorrow too.

I believe CP30 means 'critical power for 30 minutes', i.e., how hard you can go for 30 minutes.

ETA:  Oh, I see I was 'scooped' by Dr. Pete.  Anyway, I don't have a power meter either, so I'm planning to do something like 75-80% of LTHR.  Not really sure whether that is equivalent or not.  Anybody?
