Subject: Walled lake
I am searching for a closer open water body to home.  ILRA is great for OWS, but its still too far away.  I find a closer lake called Walled lake in Novi using google map.  Anyone know if its open for public?  If so, where can I swim?

There are two beaches that I am aware of, one by the Bayside Sports Bar and one at Lakeshore Park.  I haven't tried open water swimming at either.  Also, not sure about the lifeguards.  Mostly, everything is owned by someone.

Maybe I will check it out sometime this week.  Thanks.  That would cut my travel time to ILRA for swim in half.
