Hey, Donnawiz-zerbanger!

The bike course should still be the same.  There is a bridge now on Shady Oak Lane, so that road is open.

The bike course map should be on the Ironman Wisconsin site, otherwise, this is the same -

There were yellow markings on the road, but I did hear of pea gravel that was put down in a few areas a couple of weeks ago.

I rode one loop yesterday.

The loose pea gravel on the second half of Witte is bad on the downhill.  Please be careful and use you brakes carefully.  The gravel on Timber is no problem until you take the turn from Timber onto Midtown, a lot of loose stones.  The intersection of Midtown and Shady Oak is still torn up.  You will need to get off your bike and walk it through that section.  Cross Country in Verona has been chip sealed.  We skipped it and took Nine Mound Road all the way back to Fireman's Park.

Please be careful on Cty Hwy KP heading into Cross Plains.  Traffic that would normally go on Hwy 14 is rerouted onto KP due to construction.  The drivers are a little testy and we had a few close calls yesterday.  If you are riding with others, ride single file and over as far as you can.
