My husband has 2 cracks in his Bontrager Race rear wheel...so he is in the market for some new wheels. We are currently looking at the Easton EAxx SL series. He is not a racer...simply a road rider (and we have some fairly rough roads in our area). Aside from weight & price, are there any noticeable differences between the 50, 70, and 90 SL series? Of those of you who are currently riding on Easton wheels...which series are you using, how much did you pay & from where, and your general feelings on the wheelset in regards to durability, smoothness, or any issues that you may have encountered with them. Thanks!

ETA - Also...we found some good prices at Chain Reaction Cycles (almost "too good to be true" prices on these wheels). Anyone ever deal with this retailer, and if so...what was your experience?

I am the family bike mechanic and upgraded the wheels on my wife's Scott CR1 with Easton EA 90 TT. They are aero, light, smooth and durable ... absolutely no complaints. 2000 miles on them so far.

I think they retail for $799, I found them new on Ebay for $599.
