Subject: WTB Gently Used Tri Bike
Hello all,

i am looking to get rid of my 2007 Trek 1000, and upgrade to a more tri specific bike. I am 6'1" about 180lbs. My trek 1000 is a 60 cm so i am lookin for something in the 58-60 (Large frame) range...anyone selling or know where i can get a nice felt or cervelo for cheap?

I have a brand new Trek EX 9.9 but it's a 56cm
Not to be a jerk but I'm slightly over 6ft and have always ridden a 56; 58 or 60 seems huge.
Have you ever been fit on a bike by a reputable shop?

what happens is Trek makes their TT bikes with a longer top tube, perhaps one size up.
In my own expc. for a 6'1" you definitely want 58 at the min.  best bet is to go try a few bikes at a shop - they'll measure you.
