Anyone doing this one?  How's the course for those of you that did it last year? I read somewhere that the swim was long, but how about the bike/run course?

I did it last year and loved the course.  The swim was definitely long.  I swam the "half mile" in 15:39, which would be a horrible day at a 1000yd time trial for me.  I think I was 11th over all out of the water even with that time. There's also a short but insanely steep run out from the water.

The bike was a really fun route.  Starts uphill, then there's a section of short rollers.  A little after mile 4 you are pretty much downhill until mile 11.  Then more rollers and a climb back into the park.  Here's the route from last year:  LINK  I assum it's the same.

The run seemed a little short, or maybe I just had a good day.  It pretty much was just up a hill, down a hill, up a hill down a hill, and so on.

They had a ton of pizza at the finish, which is a favorite post race food of mine, so that was nice.  Really well run race, lot of fun, and always a potential scorcher with the temps.

Hey, thanks for the info. Sounds like a pretty good course.
