Subject: PLAYA Del Run events
Anyone do/doing any of these events? 

I am planning on driving down to Solana Bch for the aquathon this Sunday to try out the new wetsuit.

Guess I'm a little late in responding, but I did the last Playa del Run in Playa del Rey. The race was fun, but not very well organized. The aquathlon ended up starting about 15 minutes late. The vendors booths were right next to the transition area, which got pretty crowded with spectators during the race. As I recall, they had problems with the timing mats, so nobody got their split times.

Otherwise, it was a lot of fun. I found the swim to run transition to be more challenging (and awkward) than the usual bike to run.

How did it go for you?
