Subject: RE: Pine Barrens Olympic Distance Tri--Southern NJI've done the duathlon a few times (same bike and run ). The bike is very flat, but does have a couple of turns (one comes to mind that is right after a short downhill and completely hidden ) where you can make up quite a bit of time, if you pre-ride the coarse (evening of the day before is perfect as it is always marked by then ). The run was on a combination of trails, asphalt and very sandy sections (cramp warning! ), but flat.
Swim portion is in the lake and from what I hear, the marking is somewhat less then perfect, so pay attention |
