Subject: RE: Kicking up my metabolismSully_Joe - 2009-08-24 10:37 AM I was not sure were to post this question, but any advice is welcome.
To put it simply: I am never hungry. I only eat becasue I know I need the energy, but I can not remember the last time I had hunger pains. Right now I get in about 7-8 hr a week of training. I am 6'3" and 260# and consume less then 2000 calories a day, but stay full all day. In the past I could not eat enough, but now everytime I eat I feel like I ate thanksgiving dinner. Even now I just ate a yogart for lunch and had to stop becasue I felt full. The thing that has scared me is up until about a year ago I could float 3# at night. Now I only sleep off 0.5# if i'm lucky. I have steadly gained 2-3# a month for a year now. If anyone had any advice on how to get things going again please let me know. You need to see a doc. At 6'3", 260 lbs. 2000 cals a day is barely even maintenance. And, if a yogurt makes you feel full, that's just not right. Either you are drastically underestimating the calories you are consuming, or there is something else going on. Go to an internist. John |
