IMFL Practice Swim

You should be able to get in the water Wed - Fri, 7-10 am.  They have the gatorade sponsored bag check where they watch your stuff while you swim.  They also have the blue seventy wetsuit test and fit sessions.  Not sure if they have all the bouys out for the entire course but you should have atleast the closer ones in the water.  Not usually a life guard or anything either so would recommend swimming with other people or having your family/friends on the beach to be a set of eyes watching you. 
On race day you should be able to get in the water early, just may have to go down the beach a little bit away from the starting area.  Once again I would recommend famly or friends watching out for you.

They have the full course marked with smaller buoys. I have done the swim course the last two years prior to the race. Its alot of fun and if you want to try a blue seventy wetsuit, its a great opportunity!!
