Subject: Next Race Cly or AG?
Hello

My next (2nd) race is next weekend.

I was just reviewing the list of people signed up. 

Currently there are about 8 clydesdales signed-up with the ages ranging  from 25 to 50.  I am the 50 year old with most of  the clydes in the 35 year old range. 

Next I check out the AG's  

1 guy signed up in my AG 50-54.

Should I  change to AG with the possiblity of finishing second? or just punch along as the biggest & oldest Clydesdale.

Tough question.  

Clydesdale? more people, younger people=  more competitive? 

Ag?  if you win, is it really a great accomplishment? if you loose, you are last place (2nd)

Now that you looked at the other people signed up, the decision is tougher.  Before you looked, you could have just signed up to the group you really wanted to compete against

my advice,  compete against yourself in the group that you you prefer

Hello

I will most likely finish last in any group in which I race so I switched to 50-54 AG.  Right now there are 4 guys signed up as compared to 9 in the Clydesdale  grouping.
