Subject: RE: Lebron or Kobe? Just saw Lebron again live last night, which was nice Right now definately Kobe, every year he keeps working to improve his game. I was never a big fan of his but I have a huge amount of respect for his game, both offense and defense. In the last couple of years, it seems that he really gets what it takes to win now. Lebron is not even close to there yet. Much of the improvement in Lebron's game is credited even by him to Kobe's work ethic. When they were teammates @ the olympics Lebron was amazed that someone with Kobe talent worked so much and hard at his game To me the only weak spot in Kobes game was that it was perimeter based and I thought that would prevent him from having a longer career since it was based on quickness and explosiveness, which is hard to maintain as he ages and plays younger people. One thing people forget about MJ was that he was usually the best post up player on the court, and could get easier looks based off that. This summer Kobe spent a large amount of time with Hakeem Olajuwon to learn and improve his post game. So far this year I'm pretty impressed with how well Kobe plays in the post. This most likely will extend his career a couple of years |
