Subject: equipment tracking
The new equipment tracking is confusing me.

I have multiple pairs of same running shoes I used to number 1, 2, 3 so I can log them as the right pair I run. The new system seems to use standard names of products, how do I differentiate them so I can pick the right one in the drop down?

Kathy,

Ok, we have the numbering working now a d I was going to update yours so you don't have to but you still have some 'red' unnassociated equipment.  If you can go into the equipment tab and associate all of the red links with manufacturer/model, everything should update fine and the numbering will work for identical pieces of multiple equipment (the shoes)

I would do the for you but I don't want to mess up the names of your shoes.

Do this and post back here and I will recheck everything.

EVERYONE - once this is settled, it's a one-time thing for equipment BEFORE the change, going forward it will be a lot easier as you add new equipment - it's just migrating to a new system.

If somebody needs help, PLEASE let me know.
