Subject: my almost horrifically terrible fantastically wonderful day
So I went to the local silver comet trail starting point to run my first 10 miler, I did extremely well except for getting chicked by a woman with a twin stroller (she was booking it too). I made it back super excited reached in my pocket for me keys and....... it wasnt their!!!! my phone and my wallet were locked up in the car so i walked another two miles home. Called AAA who informed me that they couldnt tow my car unless they could put it in neutral and were sending a locksmith instead. So i walked the two miles back and waited two hours for the locksmith. The locksmith turned out to be a new guy and was having alot of trouble, turns out he was gonna have to take the lock out of my trunk to make a new key, then when i told him the ignition had been replaced he said they were going to have to take the ignition apart to be able to replace the key, he did make a copy from my vin number but it didnt match the car which he said usually happens with older cars. I told him that the key did work on the doors but id never tried it on the back hatch. He was willing to try anyway so proceeded to take the interior panel off. He started laughing and pulled my key out from under the bike railing on the top of the car, im 5'6 so i could never see the top of my jeep!!! I felt terrible but tipped him $20 so he was okay with it. Someone must have found my little key somewhere on the 5 mile path i ran and was nice enough to put it on my truck!!!!! So 2 hours of waiting for him and the massive disappointment and physical pain of being locked out my car after a 10 mile run paid off. I hope you all have a wonderful day cause this made my week!!!
