Pre-race routine:

Bowl of cereal, banana, energy drink, the night before we went to a 30th bday party and i dont think the 4 beers and hog roast were not good idea
Event warmup:

was late so had to jump out the car half a mile away, put wetty on and run to the beach, got there 5 mins after it had started !

Comments:

considering that i was running late, i was very pleased to get stuck straight into it and into my routine, i really enjoyed the swim. I got a sore neck on the back from my wetty, i dont think it was done up correctly and now i look like i have been hung with a huge burn on the back of the neck
What would you do differently?:

leave earlier !!

Nice job.  Get some Sports Glide for the next.  It could of been worse, you could of lost to Ghana.
