Subject: volunteering?
I have a question in regards to being a volunteer. There is a sprint tri coming up in October that my hubby is going to do (not me someone has to look after the kids) but they are desperate in getting volunteers. I would love to help out in anyway, but I will have my kids with me( ages 3 and 4) they are good kids and will probably just sit in the jogging stroller most of the time. Is there anything that the race organizes could give me to do to help out even though I would have my kids with me?? What do you guys think?

I'd say you might be able to hand out water at an aid station on the run. Usually there are several people there doing the same, you if you had to take a 30 second break to tend to the kids, you'd be OK.

They will welcome you. I wish my boys would stay good in the stroller. My two year old would be outta there an on the course in moments.

There are aid stations or mark athletes before the race. Volunteers are wonderful and races don't happen without them. You will even get a T-shirt out of the deal (usually)
