"Restasis should not be used by those with active viral Herpes infections of the eye" I totally never knew (nor wanted to know) that you can get herpes IN YOUR EYE!!!

What other ones have you noticed that bring the response of WTF is THAT?

I got really bad food poisoning once and got medicine for nausea.  On the label "May cause nausea.".  Um...

Yep, herpes can affect your eyes.  My daughter (age 10) was told this summer she had herpes of the eye by an optomotrist when she got 16 "styes' in less then 6 weeks.  But I didn't feel doc knew what she was talking about as (opthlamalogist) and no she didn't have herpes of the eye she has ingrown eye lashes from her lashes falling out from her allergies.

But I did learn from a friend - his son had herpes of the eye and he now has such horrible vision that only an eye transplant can help him.

Herpes of the eye is comparable to a cold sore on your mouth.  But it is very serious and needs proper treatment immediately.
