Subject:Specialized S-Works Transition, Large, Blue/white- $3500 complete OR OBO as "module"
Specialized S-Works Transition, Size L Selling my 2008 S-works transition. It is the beautiful and hard to find Gerolsteiner black/blue/white Limited Edition paint scheme. I purchased this bike as the frameset module and customized it new in 2008. It has around 3,500 miles, only ridden by me. The cockpit is full carbon and extremely comfortable, consisting of Blackwell research carbon base bar and S-bend carbon extensions, Blackwell carbon brake levers, and Sram Red carbon shifters. Derailleurs are Sram Red, while the crankset, bottom bracket, brakes, headset, etc. are the specialized specific that come with the module. (see all specs below) The purchase WILL include both the straight and set back seat posts, original S-works 100mm stem along with the shims, manuals, etc. which all came with the module originally and have never been mounted. The wheels are Mavic Ksyrium Elite with Continental Gatorskin tires. A full tune up was completed in the spring including new cables. Sadly, I have only ridden about 40 miles since the tune up.
I would also consider selling it as the "module" as specialized did, i.e. frame, fork, crankset/bb, specialized stem, both seatposts, and brakes. Please send me a message if you're interested in the module only.
The bike is in overall excellent condition. It has never been crashed, dropped, or mistreated. There are a few small cosmetic scratches in the clearcoat (see pictures) from shipping the bike to Europe for a race last year; one is just under the sizing sticker on the seat tube, one just above the non-drive side horizontal dropout in the rear, and one on the front fork where the rubber stops fell off (the all do eventually). The flash from the camera make them look much more noticeable than they really are. The bike will NOT include the pedals, saddle, or hydration systems shown in the pictures.

I will substitute Planet-X full carbon tubular race wheels in place of the Mavic Ksyriums. Setup is a 101 rear with Sram Red 1090 Powerdome 11-28 cassette, 80mm Front, 50mm front, all with titanium skewers and continental gatorskin tires. 101 and 50 have about 175 miles on them. 80mm wheel only has about 5 miles on it. Price with race wheels instead of Mavics is $4,200.
