Subject: Personal Trainer Certification
I am thinking about getting my certification for being a Personal Trainer. Does anyone out there have a particular certification they could recommend?

I aksed around the same question about a year ago.
I got teh ACE (www.acefitness.org) certification. According to the people I talked to it is one of the most respectable and recognized ones. Another good one teh one by American Center for Sport Medicine.

I just received my ACE certification in August. I did A LOT of research before jumping into it because of the cost and my measly salary. Believe me, it's worth it. ACE is highly accredited and very comprehensive. I haven't looked for any jobs yet, but have talked to potential clients in clubs and out and they have all heard of ACE and respect the group a great deal.
