The easiest thing that comes to mind without doing a lot of painfull copy, moving and deleting days is to start the plan on a day a half-week (4 days?) before or after your 'real' start date you would use if matching race days. (so rest day goes from Saturday to Wednesday) you will either be left with a 4 day deficit or 4 day overage on or after your race week. With Mikes help, you can tweak that week and the week before possibly. I may have complicated it...but the way the plan is structured, the rest day is optimally placed with respect to the weeks workouts and volume/intensity so switching the days in the middle of the week may not give the optimal benefit...ask Mike though... |
