I didn't see the story on CNN so I'm not sure what you're speaking of. As far as me... no... I haven't heard anything. The US Army seems to only activate soldiers in needed career fields those mostly being Military Police and Infantry types. I don't hold any of those MOS's so they haven't reqired my participation yet. My active duty MOS was 35H (Calibration Specialist - electronics geek stuff) and my Army National Guard MOS was 19D (Calvary Scout). My current assignment is with a Reserve MP unit but I have never gone to MP school and therefore do not hold the MOS and I am not eligible for assignment in that capacity.
