And I promise I'm not stalking my little sister.  She invited me here I'm signed up for my first marathon this year (Chicago) and will be running with my husband and LisaC957.  Thought I'd introduce myself!

I have type 1 diabetes, celiac, and am a new vegan.  Looking for lots of support on the diabetes end of things.  My endo was no help at all.  I ran 2 half marathons this year and my diabetes was okay, but I know it will be a challenge with a full marathon.

Looking forward to getting to know you!

SO. You're LISA's sister. Well, well, well, ahem ... uhhhh .... just kidding I *love* her! We are good friends and spend way too much time in this black hole called TAN here on BT, but that's another story.

There was just an insulin pump thread in Tri Talk ... I'll come back and link it for you. Also, "phoenixazul" here on BT is Type I ... BT folks are very friendly so if you PM (personal message) these folks, they'll usually be happy to share their experiences or thoughts with you.

So here's the thread: it was actually about continuous glucose monitors. But it'll introduce you to several of the Type I's on the site and as I said I'm sure they'll be happy to help.
