Hello all.
Been lurking for about a week now and in that time got myself a silver membership and decided to live a college dream which was to do a tri. Althrough I am 50 I can still do it as long as I get off my tail which is why, based on my current weight and fitness level, I am doing the 22 wk. Michael Pates program. 2 reasons for this, I have asthma which I have had for 15 years and I had a sinus infection last year which led to a hospitalization because it turn into sepses. I guess me and Bob Marley have something in common.
Anyway, I am being transfered to Wyoming and need any info on pool access in and around Rawlings at this time. I have a Mtn. Bike which I started riding to work before joining BT and most of my ground time is walking hills. I do not anticipate problems continuing these activities. Just the swiming. Any ideas. Thanks

welcome i have only been on the site for the past week and i am only 15 but i think i can help you with swimming. this will only help if you plan on swimming freestyle. when you get tired just do a couple of side strokes and get back into the free stroke. this will help you regain breath and it is the next fastest stroke to free. hope it helps.

Welcome!  Michael Pate's program is a good starter.  He's a great guy-check out his book if you ever get a chance.  I'm not sure about the Wyoming pools, put post it in http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/forum-view.asp?fid=79#s - a little empty now, but maybe other Wyoming'ers are lurking.

Let us know if ever any questions and good luck!
