new to Cardiff

Hi,

I just transferred into the final year at Cardiff University and will thus stay here until summer next year. I already looked at joing a tri-club here, but have to sort out some financial issues first.

Are there any good cycling routes around here (only have a tri-bike which are not allowed in group rides)? Any special driving behaviours or traffic situations I should watch out for while on the road? I printed out one route to the airport and back, around 25miles.

What about good (and reasonable price) bike shops in Cardiff? I have been to Evanscycles, but maybe there cheaper and better ones?
