Subject: Rest Between WorkoutsNew to the forums and BT, so bear with me while I ask a question that I am certain has been asked before (although I couldn't find it anywhere). I am training for an OLY and doing 4 swim, 3 bike and 4 run workouts a week. My question is simple - on days that I have multiple workouts (say Bike and Swim, or Swim and Run, etc.), should these work outs be done in succession (i.e. back to back with no rest period like doing a brick) or should I wait between workouts? Schedule is not an issue as I have control over my time and work hours. But to be honest, I just have been doing them back to back, because I figure that is what I am supposed to be doing. Thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated. |
