Subject: Swim goggles and bags under the eyes
So does this happen to anyone else? I wear my swim goggles and they give me big ol' bags under my eyes. Not red lines from being too tight...bags!!! I have loosend them up to the point that if I loosen them any more they let water in. I was wondering if I purchased the "bigger" goggles, (that cover more of your face and not just your eyes) if they would help. Before I drop the $30 for them, I just wanted to know if anyone thinks this will help.
Thanks!

Yes and yes. Normal goggles sit right in the bags I already have and leave deeper marks. I went to the Aquasphere seal mask and absolutely love it. In addition to not leaving bags, it gives me a much larger field of view. Now I really don't like to use normal goggles. It does leave a stripe across my forehead, but that's what bangs are for! Give it a try.

Oh thank you! I am going to check out the ones you recommended!
Ya know, not only is there the baggage problem, but like you said, your field of vision is bad too. Last night as I was on my back working on my kick (per coaches instructions). She kept telling me without turning my head, just look over and see the solid blue on the lane markers to know that I was almost to the wall. Due to the angle of the plastic of the goggle, I couldn't see!!!! Made me feel almost claustrophobic!
Ok, due to these 2 issues, I am totally upgrading my goggles!
THANKS!!!!
