Subject: What really gets me annoyed
While I was on the exercise bike at the health club the other day it just happenned that Poker came up on ESPN. Since when did Poker become a "sport"? What sporting ability does it take to play poker? By calling poker a sport you make the contestants sportsmen/athletes. That means that Joe chain-smoker and Mark fat-belly-baseball-hat pulled-down-over-oakley-sunglasses are in the same category as you and I. This is not the case. Perhaps I just don't get poker. But a sport? Don't make me laugh.

dont worry, i'm sure most of us here can relate to your frustrations... Its just like how people get excited about so many great REAL sports only once every 4 years (when the olympics roll around) and the other 3 years, TV networks dont bother televising great competitions b'c they dont think they'll sell....

Just as long as they dont start comparing poker to triathlons... i'll be able to deal w/ it..
