Dangerous work for sure. I've done a lot of scuba diving but cave diving is a whole 'nother ball game....very easy to get turned around an lost in the darkness. Also so much krap hanging off you it is very easy to get hung up. I didn't know till you posted this that someone had died. That is tragic but it really shows how these guys risks their own lives to save others.

I foresee a movie about this in the near future. Hard to grasp 2 weeks in a dark cave waiting to die.

Just read they were 2.5 miles into the cave! At one point on the way out they had to swim .62 miles underwater. That may not sound far but under water in what I am sure was muddy water with almost no visibility, that is a trip! 18 days till the last one got out.

Stories like this make my heart swell with pride at the humanity of the people in times of crisis. The Chilean minors being trapped is another story that had the world in awe at the heroics of people across the world.
