Subject: RE: Ironman 70.3 Ohio : Official Thread I've done Ohio once, in 2018, but I plan to go back again tis year. It's pretty soldi race but the logistics can make some people nervous. Having two separate transition areas causes some people to get nervous or extra excited. The reality is that it is no different than having one T area, it just requires little different mindset. The bike is a fast one with most of the hills coming closer to the end, but they're not bad. THE run isa little more challenging than the bike, IMO, but it's still a great course. Also, if you're not from the area, they're not many places to stay close to the venue. Delaware doesn't have a lot of name brand hotels so plan about 20-30 minutes drive on race morning. |
