Subject: RE: 105 10spd vs 9spd Well, you get 2 extra speeds. I moved this year from a 16 to a 20 speed, and really apreaciae the extra speeds in the 15 - 19 teeth range. It allows you to keep your cadence in the zone you want on reasonably flat terrain.
And if I ever go into the mountains, I will purchase a new casette going above the maximum of 23 that I now have, and still have a reasonnable amount of speeds for flatter terrain.
If you have the choice, I would go for the 10 speeds. |
