Subject: I need some encouragement!
I started the couch to 5k program as an endurance base, but I've fallen out of it recently...I think I just need some encouragement to keep going!

Do you have any specific 5K's in mind? Maybe finding a local event that you can register for will help get you a better time goal to shoot for?

I have found that if you force yourself to at least do the first five minutes of your daily workout then you will end up doing more. Its that first few minutes that is hard to get started...after that it turns into fun!

EDIT: Also wanted to add that by tracking your time/distance in your log you can watch the improvement. I saw that you entered something awhile ago...if you have more questions don't hesitate to ask!

Maybe you need to remind yourself 'why' your are starting the program....the health benefits?  Or how about making each workout an 'appointment'...just like any other appointment.  Make the time slot automatic.  Just go and get your 30minutes in.

Log your training for accountability.  Join a mentor group!  Lots of peer pressure there...in a good way.

Once you get into the middle of the program, you will have some good habits built and you will be doing some solid running and will start feeling the effects of that.  After that, it just snowballs.
