Subject: headache/swimming
the past 3-4 times that i have been swimming after swimming about 13-15 minutes i get a bad headache. i continue but it just gets worse. when i am done it hurts so bad that it is hard to lift my head for a few minutes. i dont know what is going on . i need some advice because my event is in 3 weeks. if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Have you recently changed goggles or tightened the strap on your goggles? If you have, this can cause some pressure and has given me headaches in the past.
If that’s not it, I would not hesitate to see a doctor.

maybe u tweaked a muscle in your neck or a joint (vertebrae) came out of place...see chiropractor?  just a guess.  if your 3 weeks away, try to give it a rest for a week, take some muscle relaxers or maybe a heating pad on the back of your neck for 15minutes.  JUST A GUESS.

Hi - I am a poor swimmer, so what makes my head hurt might be different from someone that is more experienced... but I found that my breathing technique needed to be tweaked in order for me to make the pain go away. I wasn't exhaling enough and the carbon dioxide was building up and making my head ache horribly.
